Usher in a Long(mire) Hot Summer

June 14, 2013 by PBQ

June Slam FlyerWith Perch Pub readings at an end until October, we are especially excited to welcome you all to our June 27 Slam. Warren Longmire will take the stage for a reading, followed by Andrew Keller as host of our interactive, one-of-a-kind, improv, bawdy, too-hard-to-explain writing experience! Enjoy our Slam free of charge. We’ll bring the paper and pens; you bring your sharp minds and creativity!

Warren Longmire‘s work has appeared in Pax Americana, Certain Circuits, The New Purlieu Review and two chapbooks: Ripped Winters and Do.Until.True. He is a poetry editor for Apiary Magazine, a co-founder of the UPenn Excelano Spoken Word Collective and a frequent Philly rep in national slam competitions. When pried from his second life as a obsessive code monkey, he can be found making abrupt pauses and wild hand gestures in poetry venues throughout the tri-state area.

Email pbq@drexel.edu with any questions.

RSVP to our Facebook event.

As always, we look forward to seeing you there!
