Amy Beeder has served in Haiti as a Human Rights Monitor with the UN and has worked in West Africa and South America. 
She has degrees from the University of Colorado and North Carolina
 State University. Her work has appeared in Boulevard and
 Free Lunch and has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
