[Still 21]
Me getting out of the truck. I think I was telling him we had to get out of there, which he knew. Nothing felt right but we at least had some money now and we could pay for the gas.
[Still 20]Joey getting us some gas. You should send this one to him he’d like it.
[Still 19]The gun in my left hand.
[Still 18]I didn’t see any of this but I’ve made it up in my head and it didn’t look that different. You know how people do that when they can’t figure shit out? He’s collapsed and the people I guess don’t realize he’s hit. He’s a carcass already but he doesn’t look dead. Wait he’s not dead here. I didn’t — I can’t believe — that fucking bullet hit him.
[Still 17]How is there a shot of that fucking bullet floating on air like a big boat? Doesn’t look like it’ll hit anyone right because you see my left hand aiming up? You see me aiming my left hand above their heads. My hand’s blurry and it felt blurry. I remember that so well. Look. Nobody’s anywhere near there, no guy in the yellow shirt.
[Still 16]That’s him. A yellow shirt and I think my eyes went to him in the crowd because of that. Like a bee. It was hot and I couldn’t really see well from the drugs. I’m righty but I switched the gun to my left hand because my right froze up. What the hell was I doing. It’s like it’s not even me. Why this one guy in the yellow shirt and all these other guys started running towards the truck I have no idea so I got freaked out and I yelled —
[Still 15]— get the fuck away from me motherfuckers! but they kept coming like they didn’t care. I mean, we hadn’t done shit at this point but take a little from the register. These people were crazy. You see me in this one looking like a lunatic cause I had a mob of people chasing me down. I still don’t understand where all those people came from.
[Still 14]The man in the yellow shirt, there he is. Didn’t know him or anybody else. It was like all these men came from nowhere. They started chasing us so we jumped in the truck. He looks older than he really is, he was only 35 I think.
[Still 13]The truck.
[Still 12]Okay, not sure why there’s a close up of fish n’ chips in here but okay, whatever! See how nasty that is? That’s why I would never put that in my body. Who would put this shit in their body?
[Still 11]They stayed on the ground, huh. I didn’t know that because I couldn’t see them at that point and I didn’t turn around. I was halfway out the door by this point. I should have just stayed in there because we were fucked anyway already.
[Still 10]Me and Joey leaving Long John Silvers. First Joey.
[Still 9]Joey realizing there’s time delay on the safe. No way we could wait that out. We got what the register had that’s it. We had to get the fuck out.
[Still 8]This is exactly what I saw too. It’s almost like I shot it from this angle myself. All these people outside looking in the window staring at me and Joey. Where the hell did these people come from? What were they doing?
[Still 7]This fucking video. Everyone saw us so it’s not like it matters but still I didn’t see cameras so where’d you get this? They’re from all angles like everybody’s eyes were filming on their tongues. When I started waving the gun like I am in this one nobody was screaming like I thought they might, thank God. It’s like they knew what to do. That’s when the silent alarm got hit I think. They just got down quickly but were all looking up at me like this guy’s going to do whatever he’s going to do now. I kicked a few of them in the ribs similar to how the report says I did. I couldn’t see what Joey was doing. One guy I kicked in the face because I was freaking out, why was he trying to memorize a guy with a fucking gun’s face? Even if he’s a decent guy he’s going to kick your eyes in.
[Still 6]Joe looking at me like what the hell are you inside for? I thought you were
going to stay out there.
I don’t know how you got this shot of me — where was the camera? I don’t even remember pulling the gun out outside (I thought I pulled it inside) but I guess I did when the kid started coming at me cause I didn’t expect him to be out there. He was like eighteen and really skinny but I wasn’t taking chances and we didn’t have a lot of time besides. My finger is on the trigger and I’m about to tell him he needs to go back inside. Everything sounded like it was coming towards me and I just needed to get my ass inside with Joey too.
[Still 4]I think that’s the manager’s son coming toward me. Yeah, it is. She saw me out there, I guess I looked suspicious and they didn’t know me so she sent him out to see what I was standing there for. I don’t remember what the kid said because I was thinking about what I was going to do too much. I shouldn’t of looked like that standing there so obvious.
[Still 3]Me outside Long John Silvers. Joe’s already inside. I never ate there before since I don’t like fish and chips or whatever else they have. Joey used to work at the one down the road but quit because the hours sucked and they didn’t pay well. His idea for us to get this one and the one he used to work at, instead of like a bank which obviously has more money but we couldn’t have pulled off anyway. In this photo I didn’t realize there was a time delay on the safe inside.
[Still 2]Joey.
[Still 1]Me.
