Micah Bateman: Amusement Park

March 4, 2022 by PBQ Leave a Comment

The world straps in
To its orbital roller coaster.

The sun flashes
Photos from infinite angles.

We are all screaming,
Hands in the air.

It never stops.

My grandmother dies in a car crash
At 81. My grandfather, a war vet,

Survives. We are all still
Screaming. His hands

Are on his lap.
