Joshua Gregory: The Unpossessed

September 9, 2022 by PBQ Leave a Comment

Finite things circumvent themselves: the kenosis

sped-up by losses

(calyx-like

blood clot, storm

cloud spreading its feathery arms

to engulf the ocean…) Ah,

to break like you, dawn

red water.

The living

keep moving,

if only within themselves;

a piece

that won’t keep still,

chooses instead

to come apart.
