Brittany Mishra helps make medical devices for a living and writes poetry as her passion. She has lived in Washington, Oregon, and Connecticut and currently lives in the Columbia River Valley in Washington with her husband, but her heart resides in the desert of southern Utah near the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. Brittany’s poetry can be found in Shabda Press’ Nuclear Impact Anthology and the online journals Voice Catcher, Sky Island, and Chestnut Review. She won 1st place in the Joy Bale Boone Poetry Prize sponsored by The Heartland Review and the winning poem was published in their Spring 2020 issue.
