Ben Drinen is from Wickenburg, Arizona. He spent his youth hitching rides on ships and in cars, sleeping under benches, and working odd jobs across the country and down in the Caribbean. Now he works a job by day and writes novels and short stories. When he can, he also does a story slam or two.
