Barbara Duffey

Barbara Duffey is an assistant professor of English at Dakota Wesleyan University, where she teaches creative writing, literature, and composition courses. She is the author of the chapbooks The Circus of Forgetting (dancing girl press, 2013) and The Verge of Thirst (South Dakota State Poetry Society, 2013), and the full-length collection I Might Be Mistaken (forthcoming from Word Poetry, 2015). Her poems have appeared in Prairie Schooner, Best New Poets 2009,Western Humanities Review, and elsewhere, and her prose has appeared in CutBank and is forthcoming in the Exigencies anthology from Dark House Press (2015). She lives in Mitchell, SD, with her husband and son.
