Tria Wood

Tria Wood lives in Houston, Texas, where she helps children become creative writers through the Writers in the Schools program. Her poetry, fiction, and essays have appeared in Sugar House Review, Rattle, Mom Egg Review, Literary Mama, Bayou Magazine, and other publications. Her work has also been featured in art galleries and public art projects in Houston. In 2015, she won the Mortified podcast’s first Awkward Teen Poetry tournament in with a poem she wrote at age twelve entitled “Ode to a Weiner.”
