Shana Youngdahl: “Week 20”

May 29, 2019 by PBQ Leave a Comment

Week 20

In the dream bodies arch
like hills behind the rain-wet

the howl of hands.
This exhausted fruit
tastes tail-pipe. No
husband to take
my night and walk
sleep-circles, no knife-blade
carefully removing
the peel.
