Our Newest PBQ Family Member

May 10, 2013 by PBQ

It's A BoyWe don’t know if this is really info that belongs on our newsfeed, but we don’t care:  our brave and fearless senior editor, Rachel Wenrick, did some of her best creative work last night: she gave birth to Luc Victor Taillandier at 3:37 a.m.

Almost two weeks late (boys!) we have been trying to keep our breathing calm, but Luc Victor apparently had a plan: he figured he would grow to a whooping 8 pounds 13 ounces and 22 inches before he joined us. He knew we like to hit the ground running, I guess.

Rachel, her husband Cyrille, and big sister Catharine have even more to smile about today.

Luc:  we offer you this, from T.S. Eliot:
“To do the useful thing, to say the courageous thing, to contemplate the beautiful thing: that is enough for one man’s life.”

Go, Luc, go.
