October Black Sheep Reading
On Monday, PBQ held its monthly reading at the Black Sheep Pub featuring Christina Cook, P.e. Garcia, Jaime Fountaine, and Fiona Sze-Lorrain.
First up was Christina cook, who gifted us a seven-poem glimpse of her newest book A Strange Insomnia. Next, P.e. Garcia, editor of The Offing and Aust Press, shared some poetic musings on the moon and Kenneth Goldsmith. Following was Jaime Fountaine, who read a piece of fiction that reminded the audience of the trials and triumphs of summer for a kid in middle school. Lastly, all the way from Paris, was Fiona Sze-Lorrain, musician, translator, and writer who carried us through various gorgeous poems evoking the moon and melancholy to end our night.
We are very grateful for the time and writing of our readers and the company of our fellow listeners! Join us again November 14, 2016 at 7:30 for another great night of readings!
