Monica Joy Claesson holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and Spanish from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. When not writing poetry, she spends her time backpacking, rock climbing, and otherwise enjoying the outdoors. Current and forthcoming publications include journals such as The Tampa Review, Ascent, The Pittsburgh Poetry Review, Fields, The Cream City Review, So to Speak, and Temenos.
