John-Michael Bloomquist

John-Michael Bloomquist lives in Poland with his wife and their imaginary pet cats. He has taught poetry at the Monroe County Jail, and he co-edited Poems from the Jail Dorm, a collection of poetry by incarcerated men published by Monster House Press. He founded Poetryfortrash.com, a gift economy in which poetry is exchanged for trash. His poetry has been published in COG, The Superstition Review, The Carolina Quarterly, the Atticus Review, Tilde, and many more.
