Janet Marie Sola lives in the beautiful Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon, where she spends her spare time hiking, canoeing, and searching for the elusive spotted owl. She began her writing career as a news reporter but became frustrated with “just the facts.” She earned an MA in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University. Her poems, fiction and reviews have appeared in diverse publications including Forge, Poetry Flash, San Francisco Chronicle and Alchemy. She is now completing a novel, The Overnight Palace, set in India.
