[I don’t think of myself
as violent, but]

be yes peaceful
the change in
the world you want

[sometimes I want to
fucking punch things
anything real fucking hard]

but bring some close
friends and fold
yourself in among
the mushti

[something that hurts
something I can feel later
something that can take it]

courage is made body
in a basic mudrā gesture

[something inanimate like
a hardwood door or table]

breathe and focus
on your breathing
every breath a single
instance of eternity

[like I said I’m not
a violent person]
