Congratulations Kim Church!

January 29, 2014 by PBQ

In 2010, Kim Church‘s short story, Victuals, appeared in Painted Bride Quarterly 83rd Issue. Since then, Church has progressed her writing career and is excited to announce the launch of her debut novel, Byrd, published by Dzanc Books. Written as letters to the protagonist’s son, we see a fragmented family history of a child given up for adoption and the long-ranging aftermath. Jill McCorkle, New York Times bestselling author of Life After Life praises: “Brilliant writing – lively and heartbreaking at every turn.”  Byrd is bound to be a compelling read and will be available March 18.
