Art and the Allure of Literature in Collingswood

October 8, 2012 by PBQ

Collingswood Book FestivalIn the mists of summer music festivals and film festivals we set up shop at the 10th annual Collingswood Book Festival on Saturday, October 6 and felt right in our element. Alongside the lavish number of other exhibitors lined up on the quaintly chic Haddon Avenue, we saw ourselves as not only spreading the good news of ourselves but as being a part of a much larger community effort to spread the art and allure of literature in all its forms. We were decked out with issues for sale, pamphlets of information, promotional bumper stickers and lots of characters always around our table willing to chit chat and exchange info with us. A train ride away from our Philly roots, it was a brisk autumn afternoon spent in the company of people bound by an affection held in common, and we loved being a part of it!
